[After spending a few days resting from his arrival, Rue finally decides to explore the boat. Opening the door to his room, on deck 6; the doll looks around.]

Wow... This can't be a ship. It has to be an magician's atelier.

[The previous ateliers Rue was inside always had some monsters. He couldn't help but to be cautious, even though the information he received over the relic -- well communicator. The doll decided to transform in to a Pollywog (which is a giant yellow tadpole with a purple tail fin) to float about the ground and wiggle around the boat.]

[He blinked, a bit surprised.]

I have never heard of that before. Are you sure you want me to come along?

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
[A giggle; he's so cute!]

I'd like if you did, Rue; wandering is more fun with company. But it's up to you, I'm not going to force you.

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
I would like that. You know more about this place than I do.

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
Glad to hear it. Now...

[The faerie begins to walk, slowly though, not wanting to seem like she's in a hurry. Because she's definately not in a hurry; the last thing she wants to do is go back to her room...]

What would you like to see Rue? There's a forest... a swimming pool, a couple of cafes... the deck with all the suitcases...

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
A swimming pool? Cafes? Suitcases? What are those?

[Such strange things, but Rue was curious none of the less.]

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
[Hmmm, how to explain...]

A swimming pool is like... a mini, man-made lake of sorts. A cafe is a place to get food, usually of the dessert variety. And suitcases... well, they're things to carry clothes in when you travel, I think...

[Go not being from this world either, yay!]

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
How interesting.

[He paused and scratched the back of his head before checking his pouches.]

Ah, excuse me. Could you direct me to somewhere to eat?

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
[This time she smiles fully.]

D'you like sweet things, Rue, or would you rather more 'normal' food? There's a couple of places I can take you.

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
Either is fine. Please, lead the way.

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
Alrighty, follow me.

[You're in for a treat, Rue, no standard elegante food for you! The faerie heads for the stairs, knowing exactly where she's going.]

I'll bring you to the cafe I've been running with a couple of my friends; there's cakes and cookies and a whole bunch of sweet stuff, I think you'll like it.

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
[The doll follows along, intreged.]

I don't think Claire prepared those before -- Ah, she's a good friend of mine.

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
Different people prepare different food, the same can be said for different cultures. I didn't know what most of the things I make now were when I first came here.

[She leads him along quietly, humming a little. It's not till they reach the cafe that she pauses, flicking on the light switch of the little stand and disappearing behind the counter.]

Be out in a sec, Rue! Have a seat.

[The faeries not sure what they have in stock, so she's just going through the pre-made cakes for him; poor thing's likely starving.]

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
[The young doll took a seat on one of the indicated chairs, making sure his pouches weren't getting in the way.]

I believe that whatever you will give me will taste wonderful.

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
I appreciate the confidence in my cooking, Rue, but I still want to find you something good!

[Ahah! There it is- the faerie reaches into the baaaaaack of the fridge where she kept some of the cakes hidden- Evie had always had such a sweet tooth- and proudly brought it out, grabbing a fork before turning back to where the boy sat.]

Here Rue, hope you like it!

[She sets the slice down in front of him, grinning. Rue, meet Death By Chocolate, and yes, there are little chunks of the stuff in it as well as chocolate cream.]

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:50 am (UTC)(link)
Wow!

[He had never seen such a thing like this... Mainly because he had lived out in the country side with Claire for several years.]

I have to pay you with something, don't I?

[He started to fish in to his pouches for something. Stones, coins, Arc Edge cleaning supplies, some jerky...]

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
No way, Rue, no payment required! Everything, and I do mean pretty much everything, on the boat is free. It cost me nothing to make this, and it'll cost you nothing to eat it.

[The faerie grins and pushes it towards him a bit.]

Go on, dig in. Don't worry about any sort of payment.

[He gave a nod before picking up his fork to eat the cake, only to pause after a few bites.]

This is really good. Um, do you want to share this with me?

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
I'm glad you like it!

[Ama blinks at the second bit, a little surprised. Most people didn't like sharing their cake.]

Hmm... you sure?

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-08 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay. Just let me grab us some drinks first...

[The faerie shuffles about for a moment, preparing two teas; just a bit of milk and sugar in his, since she's not sure if he's had tea before either.

She comes back and sets his cup beside the cake, taking a forkful of the slice for herself.]

If you ever want some food from here and me or Christine isn't around, feel free to get something from the fridge, Rue; there's also a couple of other restaurants on board if you don't want sweet food.

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-09 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
[He had taken another forkful before pausing when Amaria returned with tea.]

I couldn't, it wouldn't be right to take something without either you or Miss Christine was around.

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-09 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
[A little sigh; at least he's very honest.]

Alright then, how about this; if you'd like anything from here, just call me on the comm, and then I'll know you've taken something. That better?

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-09 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
...Comm?

[That's the second time he's heard that word. He fished around in a pouch and pulled out the communicator.]

This relic?

[identity profile] faeriexprincess.livejournal.com 2009-07-09 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
[Relic?]

Yes, that's the communicator, or comm for short. It let's us keep in touch with the other passengers on board the ship. Here, let me see...

[She takes his and turns it so it's facing him again, pointing out some of the more important buttons]

This is the call button, what you would use to get in contact with someone. This is talk, to respond to a message; this is text, which is... sort of like mail, but much, much quicker. It's a bit tricky at first, but once you get used to it you should be ok.

[identity profile] ruethepollywog.livejournal.com 2009-07-09 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
So a magician didn't make this?

[He followed the explaination before nodding.]

Thank you for explaining, Amaria.
