[After spending a few days resting from his arrival, Rue finally decides to explore the boat. Opening the door to his room, on deck 6; the doll looks around.]
Wow... This can't be a ship. It has to be an magician's atelier.
[The previous ateliers Rue was inside always had some monsters. He couldn't help but to be cautious, even though the information he received over the relic -- well communicator. The doll decided to transform in to a Pollywog (which is a giant yellow tadpole with a purple tail fin) to float about the ground and wiggle around the boat.]

This relic?

Date: 2009-07-09 12:53 am (UTC)Yes, that's the communicator, or comm for short. It let's us keep in touch with the other passengers on board the ship. Here, let me see...
[She takes his and turns it so it's facing him again, pointing out some of the more important buttons]
This is the call button, what you would use to get in contact with someone. This is talk, to respond to a message; this is text, which is... sort of like mail, but much, much quicker. It's a bit tricky at first, but once you get used to it you should be ok.

Thank you for explaining, Amaria.

Date: 2009-07-09 01:12 am (UTC)[She hands it back and takes a sip of her tea.]
So, how do you like it here so far? Have you met many people yet?
[She's curious, so sue her >>; ]

Date: 2009-07-09 01:15 am (UTC)[He takes back the device and puts it away.]
I have talked to a few people over the relic, but haven't met anyone; besides you.

Date: 2009-07-09 01:20 am (UTC)[She blinks.]
Oh? Well, there's lot's of nice people aboard, but there's also some bad ones. Unfortunately, I'm not to sure who's here anymore, so I can't really tell you who to avoid...

Date: 2009-07-09 01:23 am (UTC)Someone did tell me to avoid a man named Erol. Do you know anything about him?
no subject
Date: 2009-07-09 01:27 am (UTC)[The faerie sours a bit, frowning. Her hold tightens on her teacup; well, at least someone's mentioned him to Rue...]
If you can avoid him, do so whenever possible; he's about as bad as you can get. He's got red hair and ears like mine, from what I can tell; I've never actually seen him, that I remember. He's sadistic and kills for the joy of it. Christine...
[Le sigh.]
Christine will tell you different, because she's infatuated with the man, but just stay away from him and you should be alright.

Date: 2009-07-09 01:31 am (UTC)[Although, the comment about 'kills for the joy of it' made a pit form in the bottom of his stomach.]

Date: 2009-07-09 01:35 am (UTC)[She knows what he's done, especially to Christine, but that's not her story to share.]
The man has no conscience...

Date: 2009-07-09 01:38 am (UTC)[Its not like he can't defend himself from the man, Rue does have several powerful forms to transform in to.
They needed a change of topic...]
Is there many things to do here?
no subject
Date: 2009-07-09 02:02 am (UTC)There's a few. You can go swimming, or wander around some of the shops. There's a forest and some caves on one of the lower decks, and I've briefly seen a huge field of wildflowers as well.
There's a big library if you like to read, and an... ar-cade, though I'm not sure what that is...

Date: 2009-07-09 02:13 am (UTC)[Rue picked up his fork to dig in to the cake, pausing to take a sip of tea.]
Are we allowed to go anywhere?
no subject
Date: 2009-07-09 02:44 am (UTC)[She sips her tea, thinking.]
There are a couple of places that are 'technically' open that you should avoid, as well. Camp Carnival especially; it's dangerous.

Date: 2009-07-09 02:58 am (UTC)[No one had been, that had come back after dying in there.]
There are other things you could... 'acquire' the form of here, but those ones are dangerous...

Date: 2009-07-09 03:02 am (UTC)[He gave a reassuring smile.]
I doubt they can crush my will.

Date: 2009-07-09 03:04 am (UTC)I trust you, Rue, but the boat hinder abilities; you might not be as powerful as usual in your forms. It's cut my magic in half, if not more...

Date: 2009-07-09 03:07 am (UTC)[He blinked, surprised by this information.]

Date: 2009-07-09 03:12 am (UTC)[She sits back a bit, concentrates for a bit, and manages to summon a tiny bit of magic into her palm, just a little orb.]
This is about all I can do, here, along with a few shield and healing spells. Normally, I have unlimited access to magic and spells.

Date: 2009-07-09 03:16 am (UTC)[He lowers his head.]
...So, that's where my Arc Edge disappeared to.

Date: 2009-07-09 03:18 am (UTC)[The faerie reaches across the table to put a hand on his shoulder, smiling faintly.]
I do believe you when you say you can hold your own, Rue. Just be careful, okay?
